Environment Durability plays a central role for Comfort Bultex®. Also in respect of the environment: from the ozone layer to the living room. No CFCs are used in the production, processing and use of Comfort Bultex®. Furthermore, Comfort Bultex® meets the German standard Öko-Tex 100 . Used in a sofa, Comfort Bultex® does not attract any additional dust or micro-organisms. And naturally we recycle even the smallest remnants after cutting, so that nothing is lost. Recycling The Recticel group and its partners increasingly focuses on Mechanical recycling of polyurethane foams. These products consist of granulated polyurethane trim foams which are processed into a bonded foams. Other possibilities to recycle polyurethane flexible foams are Chemical recycling : the process of hydrolyses (or glycolyses) aims to bring the material back to its initial components. Thermal recycling aims to recover the material energy.
